Are you interested in entering an A&S competition but not sure where to begin? Would you like insight into what the judges are looking for? Are you curious about the overall process? Are you working on a new-to-you art or science and looking for feedback? Are you are interested in putting your technical knowledge to work by becoming a judge! If so, then please join us on February 4, 2012 for a unique A&S experience!

Prior to beginning the evaluations, an overview of the process will be provided and attendees will have the opportunity to observe a role play of face-to-face judging.Traditional A&S classes will not be offered. However a short class on documentation will be presented at multiple times throughout the day. Also, attendees are encouraged to bring in-process projects to share with others. There is plenty of space for socializing and sharing ideas as well as a designated "food-free" area available for those wanting to work on projects.

The day will end with a moderated discussion about A&S competitions. Topics may include making A&S more approachable, training and retaining judges, goals of A&S competitions and how to meet them.
