Preservatives and artificial colorings and flavorings will be avoided. If present, the item will be clearly marked, if uncertain, ask us in the kitchen.

The tavern holds the right to change the menu, and the price, if need arise, and change what day we serve what, but we keep true to our promise to serve as many as possible, and will post any changes promptly.

$4 MEAL DEAL:

A meal deal is 4 dollars, and we will be using lunch tickets, enabling you to buy tickets for both days in advance (at the sign of the tavern), and also to finish of your food and pick up your dessert later. Or to eat your dessert and give your food to a starving herald...

The Apple Tree Tavern's meal deal will contain:

A Main dish, home baked bread with butter/honeybutter (gluten free bread will be available, and hummus for a dairy free butter alternative) and a side of cabbage salad (dressed with vinegar and oil).

A Drink. There will be coffee, ice tea, lemonade, water and a selection of soda available, please remember to return the empty cans in the appropriate bin, it will make it easier for our valiant clean up crew.

A Dessert. This year we will be offering you a nice slice of a soft cake, something any medieval peasant would celebrate a holiday with. Exact flavors, shapes and colors are still being tested. It may contain apples... Gluten free alternative will be available on request.

A LA CARTE:

To a certain degree it will be possible to buy singles of the main food and the dessert. Drinks will be available all day on Saturday, and on Sunday until we close the kitchen for feast.

Single prices are as follows:
Drink - 50 cents (or $1 for two drink tokens)
Dessert - $1.50
Main - $3.00

Feast gear is encouraged, and remember to eat responsibly -- save room for dessert!

Note: This year we are expanding our ticket system into also including drink tokens! One dollar ($1) will gets you two tokens -- each token is redeemable for one drink (soda, lemonade, coffee, tea, etc). So if you want to give the musicians a drink, you can! Does your herald look thirsty? Is his voice getting hoarse? Give him a drink token!

Also, The Apple Tree Tavern recipe collection (volume one) is going to be available to buy for the first time ever! For two dollars, you can learn how to make the famous apple cake at home. All the proceeds go to cover printing costs, with any extra going toward the associated costs of running the taverns, such as materials to test out new recipes, aprons, and maybe some ice cream for the hard-working team.
