Youth Activities


Greeting families of the Midrealm!

Cynnabar invites the youth of the Kingdom to partake in the day's activities while learning about the importance and tradition for Crown Tournament in the Middle Kingdom. Join us in two full days of Youth Combat, Youth Fencing, Archery, Questing, Leather Working, Fighter Favors, and much more!

Note from the Pentamere Youth Officer: For those youth participating the quest there will be a token at the end. Please see Lady Ceara for more information about quests!

Saturday Schedule:
10:00 am - Dancing (This will also be easy dancing and technically just part of the dancing happening at the Dance list.)
11:00 am - Royal Regalia (Youth will be learning about the Midrealm regalia)
12:00 pm - Lunch Break (NO ACTIVITIES)
1:00 pm - What is this Tournament? (This class will be going over the tournament and how it works.)
1:30 pm Fighter Favors
2:00 - 4:00 pm - Youth Combat (located in the gym)

Sunday Schedule:
10:00 am - Period Pavilion Construction with Papercrafts
10:30 am - NO ACTIVITY- COURT
11:00 am (or following court if it runs later) - Belted Traditions. (Youth will make belts from real leather while learning about the significance and traditions of belts in the SCA)
12:00 pm - Lunch Break (NO ACTIVITIES)
1:00 pm - NO ACTIVITIES. IF YOU'RE BORED, FIND LADY CEARA... SHE HAS A QUEST YOU CAN DO, IF YOU'RE NOT ALREADY.
3:00 pm - Chained Fealty (Youth will make adorned chains that they can wear while learning about what fealty is and why it is important.)

Note:
All quests must be returned to Lady Ceara at or before 4:00 pm on Sunday to receive your token. This quest is also open to adults should they wish to participate.

Any child interested in Guard Duty should contact Lady Ceara before 12 on Sunday (of the event.)
