The Winter 2016 issue of the Citadel, the newsletter of the Barony of Cynnabar, is now available.


The Barony of Cynnabar is a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cynnabar hosts several events and demos throughout the year where we re-create the Middle Ages. In addition to these events we also have regular practices where we teach and learn our skills.

Regularly scheduled activities include:

Anyone is welcome to attend any of our demos, practices or events. Loaner weapons, armor, clothing, music and more are available for newcomers!

    Book Club has been suggested to be held quarterly on the last Monday meeting of the month. A different topic will be chosen each time. Please pass along suggestions to Mistress Kay as you have them.

    Workshops are held in the same location as the Baronial Business meetings from 6:30 pm until approx 7:25 pm about an hour before the meeting begins.
