Award of the Elephants Heart

Awarded to Joyce Taylor (modernly known as Joyce Taylor)

By the Barony of Cynnabar on 2019-03-30

We have heard of the good works of Joyce Taylor. In consequence, it seems proper that she, inasmuch as she has always possessed great dignity in Our Barony, should be honored by Us with some especial privilege.

For which cause, We, Kasha and Ermenrich, Baroness and Baron of Cynnabar, with the advice of Our bishops and nobles, have adopted the wholesome expedient of granting forever to said Joyce Taylor Our Award of the Elephant’s Heart, along with some portion of Our lands; to wit, a hundredth part, free and quit of all tribute both great and small, and the taxations we call Witeredden; and let it be wholly exempt from military service and the building of bridges, to the end that she may continue to do good works, and so much the more diligently.

Let none countermand Our words.
