Award of the Elephants Heart

Awarded to Eleonore von Kim (modernly known as Eleanor)

By the Barony of Cynnabar on 2014-12-20

Let others sing of Knights and Paladines,
In aged accents and untimely words,
Paint shadows in imaginary lines,
Which well the reach of their high wit records.
But We must sing of you, who dreams concoct,
Which shall in time to come authentic stand,
When yet th' unborn shall say, Lo, where she walked!
Whose exploits made Them speak, that ruled this land!
These are the arcs, the trophies We erect,
That fortify your name against old age;
And these your bold achievements must protect
Against the Dark and Time's consuming rage.
Imperfect though Our words may greet the Sphere,
Suffice, they show you live, and are held dear.

For deeds that far exceed what We expect
From one so new to Cynnabar’s accord
We, Kasha and Ermenrich, with respect
For Eleonore, now grant her the Award
Of th’ Elephant’s pure Heart, which loves Our land.
Hear these Our words: Let none them countermand.
